Warnings

CAUTION: Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Do not take this product for more than 7 days. Consult a doctor if symptoms do not improve, or come back, or are accompanied by high fever, rash, or headache that lasts, or if cough worsens, or if you get nervous, dizzy, or sleepless. Do not take this product unless directed by a doctor if you have:

• heart disease
• high blood pressure
• thyroid disease
• diabetes
• excessive phlegm (mucous), persistent or chronic cough
• glaucoma
• difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland
• asthma
• chronic lung disease or shortness of breath

Do not use if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions or Parkinson's disease) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product. As with any drug, if pregnant or nursing a baby, consult a doctor before using this product. In case of accidental overdose contact a doctor or Poison Control Centre immediately, even if there are no symptoms.

Directions

Use dosage cup provided.
Adults (ages 12 and over):15 mL (1 tbsp.). Children 6 to 11: 7.5 mL (1-1/2 tsp.). Children under 6: Consult a doctor. Children under 2: Do not use.

Take every 4 hours as needed. Do not exceed 6 doses per day. When taking other Vicks products, carefully read each label to insure correct dosing.
