MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS per 30 mL:
Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 30 mg
Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride 60 mg
Acetaminophen 650 mg

NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS:
Citric acid, FD&C yellow no. 6, flavour, glycerin, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, purified water, saccharin sodium, sodium citrate, sucrose

Warnings

CAUTION: Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Do not use with other products containing acetaminophen or salicylates. If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage. Do not take this product for more than 5 days. Consult a doctor if symptoms do not improve, or are accompanied by high fever, or if fever lasts more than 3 days, or if cough worsens. Do not take this product unless directed by a doctor if you have:

  • chronic alcoholism
  • serious liver or kidney disease
  • heart disease
  • high blood pressure
  • thyroid disease
  • glaucoma
  • diabetes
  • asthma
  • excessive phlegm (mucous), persistent or chronic cough
  • chronic lung disease or shortness of breath
  • difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland
  • recently taken or currently using antidepressant medication (e.g. monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) drugs).
As with any drug, if pregnant or nursing a baby, consult a doctor before using this product. In case of accidental overdose contact a doctor or Poison Control Centre immediately, even if there are no symptoms.

KEEP THIS AND ALL DRUGS OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.

Directions

Use dose cup or tablespoon (tbsp).

Adults 12 yrs. and over: 30 mL or 2 tbsp.
Children 6-11 yrs: 15 mL or 1 tbsp.
Children < 6 yrs: Consult a doctor.

Repeat every 6-8 hours. Do not exceed 4 doses per day or as directed by a doctor.

When using other DayQuil and NyQuil products, carefully read each label to insure correct dosing.

FD&C red no. 40, FD&C yellow no.6, gelatin, glycerin, polyethylene glycol, povidone, propylene glycol, purified water, sorbitol, titanium dioxide

Uses

FOR DAYTIME RELIEF OF:

Warnings

Consult a doctor if symptoms do not improve, or are accompanied by high fever, or if fever lasts more than 3 days or if cough worsens or persists more than 1 week, or if you get nervous, dizzy or sleepless. If sore throat is severe, persists for more than two days, or is accompanied by fever, headache, rash, nausea or vomiting, consult a doctor promptly. Do not take this product unless directed by a doctor if you have:

  • chronic alcoholism
  • serious liver or kidney disease
  • heart disease
  • high blood pressure
  • thyroid disease
  • glaucoma
  • diabetes
  • asthma
  • excessive phlegm (mucous), persistent or chronic cough
  • chronic lung disease or shortness of breath
  • difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland
  • recently taken (within 2 weeks) or are currently using a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease)

Directions

Adults (12 yrs. and over): Take 2 LiquiCaps with water every 4 hours. Do not exceed 12 LiquiCaps per day. Children under 12 years, ask a doctor. When using other DayQuil or NyQuil® products, carefully read each label to insure correct dosing.
